My name is Christopher Lambert. CEO Of East Austin Carpenters.
Before building my team of incredibly talented carpenters for you, I spent my days working at one of the most prestigious millwork shops in Boston.
Ever since I was young, carpentry has always been a white-burning passion of mine. I dedicated every single day to mastering my craft. Gaining as much experience as I could through endless repetition. It wasn’t long before I was one of the top carpenters at my shop…
Which led me to one BIG problem…
I had more experience in carpentry than the guys who were managing me!
In fact, my learning curve eventually stopped because I’d studied the art of carpentry so much.
Yet, I was still being managed by other people. Many of whom had LESS technical skills and experience than I had!
I was tired of making these kinds of people rich. And I no longer wanted to wear someone ELSE’S logo on my shirt.
Especially when all they cared about was money and scaling, and not about the customers or the craft of carpentry itself.
That’s when I finally realized…
There was only way to avoid dealing with YEARS politics, seniority, and favoritism that poisons most companies…
I needed to create my own business.
