Will wanted to remove this old faulty steel structure and make the house footprint smaller thereby reducing his taxes. Searching for the right roofing and remodeling contractor, he chose us for demolition for steel buildings and roofing repairs. Even though we were not the biggest company, but more than a handyman. We proved to be a great fit, as we took care of the framing, window installation, and Hardie siding.

One of our favorite long time clients in Volente (Hi Sherry!). Aside from cabinet painting, interior trim carpentry, and finish work, we built this Timbertech composite deck. Then added a giant flitch beam to span the patio, and re-roofed and built an upper floor patio deck with custom steel railings. Our finished project resulted in a high-quality, neatly furnished rooftop balcony.

Austin Needed the place to be cleaned up because they were expecting a new baby! We thought it would be a great idea to do some trim carpentry around the house. We polished the concrete floors and replaced the base board. remodeled the kitchen and bathroom with concrete countertops. Then tiled the floors and the shower, replaced the plumbing in the tub, built custom cabinets and shelving, finishing up with brand new interior painting. expanded the awning over the front entry, and replaced the roof with metal roofing. We created a standing seam roof, which made for a great galvalume roof.

Russel was contemplating moving and wanted to upgrade their kitchen and outdoor area. We rebuilt and painted the pergola and deck. When it came to the kitchen remodel, we did a complete cosmetic refacing of the kitchen cabinets and laundry room. New countertops, lighting, backsplash, sink, and oven. We even included shaker doors with Euro hinges, sprayed enamel, can lighting, and plumbing.

Peter’s Shelves

We had a lot of fun with this project. It was a prototype for this method of installing floating shelves using 5 1/2″ long 1/2″ wide x 1″ steel bolts. the mortices are made using a Festool Domino Joiner. We decided on using a “live” or “free” edge where the original profile from the tree trunk is left nearly in its natural state. The walnut we selected was finished using an oil based polyurethane to stand up to being washable in a kitchen environment.

Looking to expand their space and replace the decaying post that was holding up part of their roof, they called us in. What they needed was a high-quality custom design. We made the repairs, expanded two of the decks, and created new custom steel railings with Painted black steel balusters. Then we used Cedar railings to give this deck a finishing touch.

Another exterior home remodel project coordinated with Yarrow landscaping . This project took some thought, regarding the windows. There was no real good way to design it around the window so we ended up splitting the window to allow the wall to attach to the kitchen. In addition to the screened porch, Tom needed a place to enjoy spending time outdoors and garden, he was challenged with being in a wheelchair, and they asked us to design some accessible garden beds.

The remodeling company Solluna builders called us to help with this project downtown. Roof framing a new Gable end roof and expanding the office space on the top floor. We built the exterior stairs, reinforced the floor joists on both floors to bring the building up to code compliance for it’s group use. One of our final additions was the hog panel railing.
